Tracking via AFTERSHIP

You can also track your Pakajo shipments on aftership. You can find Pakajo as a shipping service in the Aftership portal. The Aftership app also offers very good shipment tracking, which informs you of any current shipping status. With aftership, you can enter your pakajo tracking numbers and track your shipments as follows: UPG-123456/UPG123456 or 123456. Of course, you can also track your shipments using the final shipment numbers of the respective shipping providers, such as Deutsche Post, DHL, DPD, Post NL, bpost and many others.

NOTE: Pakajo sends recipients a delivery email that the shipment has been delivered or is ready for collection at the parcel shop!

Customs content declaration

For international shipping outside the EU, a customs declaration is of great importance. This statement informs customs officials of the content and value of your package. The information in the customs content declaration is used to calculate the country-specific import sales taxes and duties, which must then be paid by the recipient.

In order to make customs processing smooth, it is important to fill out the corresponding CN 23 customs declaration for parcel shipping outside the EU. Attach the document clearly visible to the outside of your package in a shipping bag. However, when sending by post, the CN 22 customs declaration must be used. In any case, the customs declaration for shipping to Scotland should be on the address page of your shipment.

Please note that the customs declaration must be completed for shipping to Scotland, the world language English. This ensures smooth processing by customs authorities to Scotland. Make sure that all information is correct and complete to avoid delays or problems with delivery.

In addition, when shipping via parcel services such as UPS or DHL, you also need a commercial invoice in English. Scotland is part of the UK, so British import and customs regulations apply. Shipments from countries outside the UK may be subject to customs duties and import sales tax. The import sales tax is generally 20 percent and is calculated on the value of the goods, including shipping costs. Whether additional customs duties are charged depends on the type of goods and the value of the goods. Customs clearance requires a correct commercial invoice and a clear description of the goods. The duties are not included in the shipping price and are usually charged before delivery.

Gift shipments to Scotland may be exempt from import duties under certain conditions. If the value of the gift is less than 39 British pounds, there is usually no import sales tax. If this value is exceeded, import sales tax and, where applicable, customs duties may be charged. The shipment must be clearly marked as a gift and contain a realistic value of the goods.
