Shipments within Philippines are usually delivered in 3-10 business days, depending on the region, express shipments within 1-2 days. It takes 3-20 days from other European countries, 2-25 days from the USA, 2-10 days from Asia — depending on the shipping method and service provider.

In the Philippines, Monday through Friday are considered working days. However, public holidays — regional or nationwide — can cause delays. In particular, moving holidays such as Ascension Day or Corpus Christi fall on different Thursdays every year.

Tracking via AFTERSHIP

You can also track your Pakajo shipments on aftership. You can find Pakajo as a shipping service in the Aftership portal. The Aftership app also offers very good shipment tracking, which informs you of any current shipping status. With aftership, you can enter your pakajo tracking numbers and track your shipments as follows: UPG-123456/UPG123456 or 123456. Of course, you can also track your shipments using the final shipment numbers of the respective shipping providers, such as Deutsche Post, DHL, DPD, Post NL, bpost and many others.

NOTE: Pakajo sends recipients a delivery email that the shipment has been delivered or is ready for collection at the parcel shop!

Customs content declaration

For international shipping outside the EU, a customs declaration is of great importance. This statement informs customs officials of the content and value of your package. The information in the customs content declaration is used to calculate the country-specific import sales taxes and duties, which must then be paid by the recipient.

In order to make customs processing smooth, it is important to fill out the corresponding CN 23 customs declaration for parcel shipping outside the EU. Attach the document clearly visible to the outside of your package in a shipping bag. However, when sending by post, the CN 22 customs declaration must be used. In any case, the customs declaration for shipping to the Philippines should be on the address page of your shipment.

Please note that the customs declaration for shipping to the Philippines, the world language English, must be completed. This ensures smooth processing by the customs authorities for the Philippines. Make sure that all information is correct and complete to avoid delays or problems with delivery.

COMMERCIAL INVOICE

In addition, when shipping via parcel services such as UPS or DHL, you also need a commercial invoice in English. It informs customs officials about your goods, the entire shipping process and you as the sender. Please attach the commercial invoice to the outside of your package in a shipping bag. The commercial invoice must be affixed to the package in 3 copies.

TIP: Also include a commercial invoice in the package to be on the safe side.

Shipments to the Philippines generally incur customs duties and an import sales tax as soon as goods are imported. The amount of duties depends on the value of the goods, the type of goods and the correct customs tariff number. The import sales tax generally corresponds to the Philippine value added tax of currently 12 percent and is charged on the value of the goods, including shipping costs and, where applicable, customs duties. The actual customs duties vary depending on the product category and can range from duty-free to significantly higher percentages. Customs clearance is carried out by the Philippine customs authorities and may extend the duration of the shipment, in particular if documents are missing or the value of the goods is unclear.

Gift shipments are also subject to customs checks in the Philippines. Although gifts are often marked as such, they are not automatically exempt from duties. In practice, gift shipments up to a certain value can be treated preferentially, but complete exemption from customs duties is not guaranteed. The realistic value of the items included is always decisive. If gifts are rated as too high or contain new, commercially available goods, both customs duties and import sales tax may be charged. Incorrect or too low values can result in additional customs duties, delays or even the return of the goods.
